Founded in April 2004 as "Women Foundation for Women's Rights Assurance," our organization has been at the forefront of civil society initiatives, diligently registered with the Non-Governmental Organization Directorate. What started with a group of dedicated individuals and stakeholders volunteering their time has burgeoned into a significant force supporting various societal segments – from widows and orphan children to students, youths, displaced persons, returnees, and all those in dire need. Our success is deeply rooted in our unwavering commitment to society as a whole while placing special focus on women and children. By upholding human rights principles and tirelessly working to curb violence against women and girls, we advocate for effective policies and programs that can transform lives. Over time, armed with experience gained through institutional systems training and executing projects in collaboration with international organizations, local civil society institutions, and relevant government bodies,

With leadership in relief efforts and development work, we are pioneering sustainable humanitarian action. As an innovative feminist non-profit organization, our mission is not only to combat violence but also to foster joy within communities – ensuring dignity through the highest standards without compromising national interests. We're also dedicated to bolstering protection for Iraqi women by empowering them to stand against violence. Currently active in Baghdad as well as numerous Iraqi governorates including Anbar, Salahuddin, Nineveh, Karbala, Basra, and Dhi Qar – our team operates across most regions.
